Katherine Eid Wild

Katherine Eid Wild is a storyteller and documentary filmmaker whose work weaves intergenerational narratives drawn from her Lebanese-American heritage. Her performances explore themes of resilience, connection, and the wisdom passed down through generations. Her signature piece, Inheritance: An Intergenerational Resilience Story, invites audiences to reflect on the strength of family bonds, ancestral knowledge, and the transformative power of storytelling.

Katherine’s film, A Spring for Ali, which chronicles her great-grandfather’s journey as a refugee in Lebanon, has been screened internationally, from the Arab American Museum in Michigan to Beirut, Lebanon.

Known for her poetic depth and use of the Arab storytelling tradition of “”stories within stories,”” Katherine’s performances emphasize resilience in the face of adversity, offering a rich exploration of personal and collective histories. In 2025, Katherine will perform as a finalist in the International Storytelling Festival’s story slam, present at the National Storytelling Network Conference, and complete a new storytelling project with a grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation, bringing her unique voice to a national audience.
