Betsy Morris, Ph.D., a co-convenor of Gray Panthers Berkeley-East Bay, a multi-generational membership organization created in 1975 to educate the public on the needs of low-income seniors and disabled adults, with particular attention to health, worked with think tanks, foundations, and community development corporations in low-income neighborhoods before founding Planning for Sustainable Communities, and later, Cohousing California, with her husband. Betsy is also an Ambassador of the Global Ecovillage Network and for the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
