Jenny Rempel is a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management at UC Berkeley. She combines community-engaged and data-driven research approaches to understand the patterns and drivers of resource and exposure disparities. As a public scholar from California’s San Joaquin Valley, Jenny collaborates with community-based organizations, coalitions, and policymakers to generate knowledge that informs environmental policy and climate adaptation efforts. Jenny’s latest work examines implementation of California’s human right to water law from local to statewide scales.
