Bioneers is committed to co-creating a brave, holistic and intentional community. We encourage everyone to bring a full heart and an open mind to embrace opportunities for learning together.

Mindful Dialogue
Bioneers fosters an open space for mindful dialogue across differences. We remind you that facing ruptures is necessary to deepen learning and heal, while recognizing that resolution may not be achieved at that time.

Code of Conduct 

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, and Bioneers staff  are required to adhere to the following Code of Conduct. Event organizers will enforce this Code within all venues and throughout the duration of the event.

Prior to the Bioneers Conference, all participants are requested to have read this policy.

The Bioneers Conference is a harassment-free, respectful and inclusive environment that recognizes the inherent worth of every participant. We invite all those who participate to help us to co-create a safe, brave and welcoming  experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, political affiliation or spiritual belief (or lack thereof). 

Harassment includes but is not limited to negative stereotyping, name calling, covert indirect racist statements, polarizing political fishing, disrespecting or trying to explain another person’s cultural lineages or traditions that are different than your own, etc. 

Conduct that is prohibited also includes sexual harassment or intimidation, including unwelcome sexual attention or unsolicited physical contact.

The organizers of this event  do not tolerate harassment of participants or speakers in any form, discriminatory language, and stereotyping during any aspect of this event, including keynote addresses, afternoon workshops, film screenings, or other conference affiliated events. 

If you see someone behaving disrespectfully and feel safe and comfortable doing so, you are encouraged to discourage them from such behavior respectfully. If you do not feel safe, comfortable, or otherwise able to respond and resolve it respectfully, please immediately bring it to the attention of Bioneers event staff. We want to hear from you about anything you feel is disrespectful, threatening, or just icky. We will listen and work to resolve the matter.

Participants violating this Code of Conduct may be expelled from the Bioneers Conference at the discretion of Bioneers. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
