Miyoko Sakashita is the Oceans Program Director at the Center for Biological Diversity where she works to secure protections for imperiled marine life and ecosystems from threats ranging from global warming and ocean acidification to fisheries and pollution. Miyoko, who holds a law degree from UC Berkeley, also earned BS degrees in Conservation and Resource Studies.
